I am IN LOVE with this spread in the new US edition of Harper's Bazaar. It actually has little to do with the Tim Burton cameo or the shout out to Edward Scissorhands. It's because it is perfectly macabre from the enormous skeleton looming above to the cloudy sky that seems ominous. I adore these spreads and they seem to stick with me longer than they ones where the girls are just pretty.
I loved this shoot, and how it manages to totally embody the autumn without actually showing any falling leaves.. that bright red against the dark sky especially.. it's just beautifully done! And of course, the Burton angle certainly doesn't hurt its case either. ;)
The ramblings of another fashion addict, far too idealistic for her own good. Lacroix, McQueen and Galliano are the gods around here so keep the minimalists away.
